Ingrid is a strain pretty much unheard of outside California. It is a product of crossing Royal Cheese of the United Kingdom with Hash Plant. It gives off a very pungent and skunky odor with a hint of cheese. The buds have thickly dense nuggets that have the shape of a spade and size that varies from medium to small. It is compact and neon green in color covered in curly orange hairs with a heavy sheet of silvery translucent trichomes.

Flavor and Effects of Ingrid

Ingrid has an enticing skunky taste with a hint of cheese. During inhalation and exhalation, a spicy and citrus flavor can be detected.

Its fast and pleasant cerebral and body high delivers euphoria, happiness, hunger pangs, and mind-body relaxation. As the kick slows down, a feeling of sleepiness will envelop you. It is recommended to be used in the nighttime.

Medical Benefits of Ingrid

Indica leaning, Ingrid is a sedative yet encouraging analgesic, anxiolytic, anti-depressant, relaxant, and appetite booster. It is an excellent remedy to those people who suffer from stress, spinal cord injury, PTSD, nightmares, nausea, muscle spasms, insomnia, hypertension, depression, chronic pain, and arthritis.

Negative Effects of Ingrid.

Cottonmouth and dry, itchy eyes are side effects of slight dehydration you can get from Ingrid. It is not a cause for worry and can be lessened by downing on a few glasses of water than your usual intake during and after the toke. You can also use eye moisturizer drops to soothe those irritated eyes.

If you are new to the strain, then you may likely experience anxiety, dizzy spells, and worse, paranoia. This is due to overconsumption, so go slow with the smoke.

Growing Ingrid

Ingrid’s seeds do not appear to be available for sale online. Prospective growers must get clippings from a trusted source in order to grow clones of the plant. It can be cultivated indoors or out. It loves a semi-humid outdoors climate with daytime temperatures between 70 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit.

It is recommended for indoor growth as it gives higher yields when kept inside. You can use hydroponics as a medium. This shortens the flowering stage and increases crop production. Bushy in nature, you can also use the Sea of Green technique too. A little pruning and trimming here and there will do the plant some good. It allows better air and light circulation to lower nodes and reduces mildew formation. The pungency of its aroma can cause some problems too. Hence, you must consider odor-control measures like exhaust fans or carbon filters. This strain matures quickly as early as the 5th week. You can expect a yield of 12 to 16 ounces of fresh buds per square meter.

Outdoors, you must choose a place far away from people who might not like the strong aroma of Ingrid. The flowers blossom much longer outdoors. During the end days of October, each plant can have only 12 ounces of buds.
